Commentary
The consensus across the board from past poll questions on this site seem to be that the races at California are
very uneventful and the fans are not happy about the track having two races.
When the track gained the second event on Labor Day weekend there was a big uproar by the fans that NASCAR
messing with the tradition of the sport by taking away the famed Southern 500 Labor Day weekend event from
Darlington.
It was announced earlier this month that Atlanta would be getting the Labor Day event in 2009 and California
gained an event in the Chase.
